CHENNAI, India – Yesterday’s match with #4 seed Canada featured a stirring come from behind victory by #2 Amanda Sobhy after being down 2-0, and a grueling 3-0 match clinching victory for #3 Julie Cerullo.  The USA, seeded #5 going in to the Worlds and looking to improve on its best ever showing of 4th place, then did battle with #7 seed England.  No English team had ever lost to the US in any event. . . until today.  Amanda suffered a tough loss at the hands of a very talented English #2, but Julie Cerullo is proving to be the star of the team championships after notching another 3-0 match clinching victory.

Next up for Team USA is the #1 seeded team from Egypt.
